La French TechBangalore-India, is a bridge between the French and Indian ecosystems. It boasts a truly bi-national character, with two Indian entrepreneurs on its Board, and its members including several Indian startups, former winners of the French Tech Ticket and startups which have been accelerated and or incubated by French organisations. Our objective, as you will have understood, is above all to connect France and India and to increase local synergies between the two different ecosystems. India is a truly diverse country with unique human, natural and cultural richness, making it a land of opportunity for all entrepreneurs and innovators. Indeed, it is a pool of talent within reach of the Tech Made in France: there is a large majority of engineers and developers with a high technical qualification. Bangalore, more commonly known as the Indian Silicon Valley, now hosts more than 2,000 startups collectively worth over $19 billion. But we know that the integration into this new environment can be a real challenge. Cultural differences, the difficulty of reading the local market and the identification of potential partners or customers are multiple reasons making navigation in the ecosystem difficult. Newcomers therefore need a launching pad, and the existing French community a rallying base to accelerate the exchanges and growth of French Tech companies in India. From these needs results the goals of our community: 1 – Promote the French Tech local ecosystem globally 2 – Help French startups understand and access the Indian market 3 – Connect the Indian Tech community to the French ecosystem Meetings between entrepreneurs, events bringing together startups and corporates, French companies welcome guide, making the connection with the relevant people (in India or abroad),… these are all projects that we realize to make this community alive !
